If we analyse the evolution of shipments of corn and beef, poultry and pork during the last 20 years in both countries, it becomes evident that Brazil currently exports 1 ton of meat for every 5 of corn, while Argentina ships 1 for every 40.
Shortly after the general threshing in the core area, wheat attracted attention in Rosario, with prices that are at their highest for crop transition since 2013. In Chicago, prices are also hitting records since 2012.
The terminals in Rosario export hub, with their annexed factories, have the capacity to store (in silos or fixed structures) 6.6 Mt of grain, 2.3 Mt of by-products and 994,000 tons of oil.

According to MAGyP, of the 10 Mha destined to corn in the new crop season, 3.6 Mha were covered with early varieties and 6.5 Mha will be sown with the late segment.
After a new survey on terminals and oil companies in the area, we re-estimate the oilseed crush capacity in Rosario hub at 165,800 t/day, while the national capacity of active plants is 207,800 t/day.
The port terminals in Rosario export hub have a daily receiving capacity of 539,100 tons of goods by truck, 129,000 t by barge and 112,700 t by railway.
